Well this is the boring bit - lol - but I suppose I'd better
tell you a bit about myself
..
I am a life-long pagan who was born in 1958 during a month when the Hawthorn
flowered heavily. (well that's the flowery bit over with *wink*) I love
life and all the new discoveries that can be made - from morning dew on cobwebs
to 'what does this button do'!
A large portion of my life has been spent travelling - not just across the
UK but also world-wide, many times were spent following the crops in my home
county, learning about herbs and Family life as I went which in part has led
to me having an enquiring mind and a deep sense of honour which is guided by
my own set of ethics.
At the autumnal equinox in 1983 I married my long-term partner St G and moved
to the South West of England with him. On the Autumnal Equinox of 2006 we renewed
our vows in a handfasting ceremony surrounded by our friends and family.
My days are filled with a mixture of gardening - I grow my own organic herbs,
painting, writing, reading history and anything that catches my eye, meeting
friends - both in person and talking on-line, mucking about on the computer,
learning new things and looking after an ever increasing menagerie of animals
(sorry kids!). I am also a Reiki master/teacher.
And if that little lot makes me sound saint-like.......[chuckle]....not a chance!!!!
During the last twenty odd years St G has patiently suffered through foul-smelling
home-made incense, my taking over the dining-room to paint, burnt dinners,
my strong aversion to ironing and the occasional fireworks, not too mention
my dodgy sense of humour! (which I might add has gotten me into trouble on
several occasions!) and my habit of having an open house.
I currently organise and run the Annual Dragon Moot where
assorted pagans and non-pagans gather for a two day event of music and
laughter, Officiate at Namings, Passings and Handfastings, help run several
forums - when I'm not out and about - as well as sorting out whatever I'm
currently writing ready for publishing.
So there you are..... me in a nut-shell ......... now make
yourself comfy and have a wander round my little corner of the web,
May your God/dess's go with you
